OMAM website redesigned by Fireworkx
Operating as an independent global asset management company since June 1997, Old Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM) is the largest institutional asset manager in South Africa and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Old Mutual Group.
By drawing on the specialist skills within the global group, OMAM can provide clients with access to specialist international asset management capabilities and expertise.
Old Mutual Asset Management approached Fireworkx Internet to assist them in redesigning their website to reflect the company's recent re-branding. Fireworkx created a new design which was implemented into HTML and built on the all-purpose Producer Content Management System (Enterprise Edition). This allows the client to effortlessly update their website themselves whenever the content requires revision.
The OMAM site offers information about the company, its staff, its products and other market related issues. Visitors can keep up to date with the latest developments at OMAM by going to the Investment Insights section and following the latest media releases or downloading the most recent OMAM newsletter.
Users who wish to do so can subscribe to the newsletter and selected other information sources such as media releases, the economic monitor and the Quarterly Performance Brief. These will be mailed to the recipient as a personalised email when they are updated, which is a Producer CMS capability.
In addition, there are downloadable radio interviews with key OMAM staff which offer further insight in the business of asset management. These downloads are available in MP3 format. Clients can monitor their investments by visiting the Capabilities section and reading the Product Sheets of the relevant portfolios. The Product Sheets were also designed by Fireworkx and ensure quick access to all information that is important to the client.
The website is identified by the creative interpretation of the OMAM brand, incorporating Flash elements, banners and an easy-to-use DHTML menu, all of which not only gives the site an attractive appearance, but also creates a dynamic and engrossing online presence.
