Back to School website goes live
Continuing our role as Waltons' web technology partner, we designed and developed a website for the Waltons Back to School division. The Back To School site promises to be a handy and easy to use tool for schools, pupils and parents who need a cost-effective and convenient method of purchasing stationery.
The site is once again built on our versatile and powerful Producer Enterprise Edition CMS which allows our client to update their own content and product catalogue. The Back to School website was designed to offer a fast and simple on-line shopping experience, with the extensive product catalogue grouped into easily understandable categories, with quick navigation between individual catalogue items and the main product lists. Each listed product has a full description, price and photo.
With the Back to School theme in mind we designed the site to appeal to the pupils who will use it and made it more than just an online shopping site, but also a fun experience for anyone who wants to have a peek. We created custom drawings and the Kidz section includes activities like a Flash game, downloadable pictures for colouring in and electronic postcards that kids can send to their friends. With so many features and activities, shopping for school supplies will never be viewed as a chore again.
