Waltons is the leader in home, school and office product supplies and South Africa’s largest stationery and office equipment company. Waltons chose Fireworkx as their technology partner and to take their business a step further into the world wide web.
We designed and developed the Waltons website using Producer "Enterprise", our flagship Content Management System, which allows Waltons to update their own content. The site showcases the versatility of Producer by incorporating all the different aspects of the Waltons online presence.
The emphasis has been placed on a quick and easy on-line shopping experience. Products are grouped in easily understandable categories, with quick navigation between individual catalogue items and the main product lists. The website permits individuals or businesses to purchase Waltons products online through the secure online shopping facility, without the need of a Waltons account. All products purchased will be delivered to your home or business at a R30 fee, or you can pick up your order at the nearest Waltons branch at no cost.
Features on the Waltons website include:
 An extensive product catalogue.
Each listed product has a full description, price and photo.
A handy store locator which enables a user to find the nearest shop in his area.
A "My Favourites" function. A user can add the products they require on a regular basis and create a shopping list. This function is ideal for the small business or individuals who do not wish to open an account at Waltons, but need supplies regularly.
The site also offers monthly specials and competitions.
