Waltons chooses Fireworkx Internet
Fireworkx has been chosen by Southern African stationery and office furniture giant, Waltons, as their technology partner.
In a phased refurbishment of Waltons' entire web presence, Fireworkx has started developing a new corporate website, underpinned by the successful Fireworkx' Producer CMS "Enterprise Edition". [CMS: Content Management System]
The emphasis will be placed on a fast and simple on-line shopping experience. Products will be grouped in easily understandable categories, with quick navigation between individual catalogue items and the main product lists. Each listed product has a full description, price and photo.
Work on the Waltons Back to School website, Waltons Intranet and a redevelopment of the off-line Corporate shopping system will commence early in 2003.
www.waltons.co.za is set to go live in April 2003.
